Any of our guests that can’t keep their booking dates due to rulings by the

We invite you to come and stay for a taste of French life here in your own
private self catering Gite, nestled within the beautiful undisturbed Limousin countryside.
You choose your own pace of life here from one of romantic solitude or
exploring daily, the French culture of food & wine, town markets, glorious
lakes, historic chateau's & a never ending variety of walks & drives
within what feels like days of old.
Unfortunately we do not accept any dogs/pets.
We have just the one delightful detached Gite & this will be all yours for your very own use.
It sits in 3 acres of secluded gardens & land for you to walk around & take in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
When you enter the open plan Gite into the lounge, you have
two large double sofas, soft lighting, English satellite TV, DVD player & a
selection of DVD’s, books & games.
This leads on to the dining area with large table seating 6 people.
Carry on through to the kitchen with fitted kitchen cupboards/worktops,
double sink, dishwasher, gas oven, fridge/freezer, microwave & toaster. All kitchen utensils are provided along with sponges & tea towels.
The toilet & shower room has a good sized shower with wash basin & toilet (bath towels are included).
Upstairs, we offer 2 spacious bedrooms one with a double bed
& one with a king size bed with window view of the garden, surrounding hills
& trees (all bedlinen provided).
To the rear of the gite is a decked area with table & seating, BBQ & more beautiful views.
You will have exclusive use of the large decked
swimming pool (32'X16'X4') with sunbeds & easy seating (pool towels provided). In the pool house you will find cold drinks, crisps, nuts, chocolate bars, ice lollies etc (honesty box).
You can walk around the garden & lower field where you can sit & take in the views, watch remarkable sun rises & sun sets.
All outside areas have breath taking views.
In the large barn you have the option to play darts, table tennis & foosball.
Situated where we are with no light pollution, cuddle up under some of the most amazing star laden sky's & marvel at the milky way directly above.
0.5 MILE walk up to the little village of La-Roche L'Abeille you will find a lovely little church, a Patisserie to get lovely fresh bread & delicious cakes, a Tabac where you can stop for a drink or book in for lunch/evening meal. There's also "La Table du Moulin" a Michelin star restaurant with great staff & the food is
1.9 MILES away is "Moulin de la Gorce" The main Michelin star restaurant (partner of "La Table du Moulin").
Dine here & be served with beautiful local French delights. It truly is a remarkable place to visit.
6 MILE drive (10mins) to the lovely town of St Yrieix La Perche you can find everything you need:-
Supermarkets including Lidl, Intermarche & Hyper Casino.
Bars, Cafes, Restaurants, Pizzerias, McDonalds, Chocolatiers, Patisseries, Boulangeries, Wine Merchants.
Tourist Information, Hairdressers, Banks, Doctors, Dentist, Garages.
Lake with beach & picnic area.
The Market is every second and forth Friday morning of each month.
8 MILE drive (15mins) to one of the many nearby fishing lakes ETANG LES VITAILLES.
8 MILE drive (15mins) to Coussac Bonneval, the lovely Chateau (Chateau de Bonneval) there's also shops & bars in the town.
14 MILE drive (20mins) to the Zoo.
Park Zoo Reynou is a lovely place to visit. Very
well kept, with beautiful scenery, cafe, a good selection of animals & more.
19 MILE drive (30mins) to Limoges:-
Please don't think of Limoges as just an airport destination for you to land at for your holidays.
Limoges (just 30mins drive from us) is known for its porcelain but it also has some lovely places to visit too, including:-
a Zoo, Cathedral, Gardens, Museums, Aquarium, just to name a few.
There are also lots of Shops, Boutiques, Tabacs & Restaurants
nestled is some lovely old cobbled stoned streets. You could take in the
sights via the little road train or one of the Tuk Tuk's.
